VIDEO: Jumping Off Buildings Ain’t No Big Thing in Germany

If you’re ever in Berlin and you catch a falling person out of the corner of your eye, don’t fear for them. Their harness should give a yank just before impact.

“Base flying,” as it’s called, is offered from more than 400 feet in the air from the Park Inn hotel in Alexanderplatz. After dangling high in the sky for what must seem like an eternity, flyers fall straight toward the ground for about 10 seconds.

The rush is valued at 59.90 ($81.06 in U.S.), so if you end up taking the financial and literal plunge, do let me how it was—because it will never be an experience of mine.
