A Gainesville nonprofit that provides outdoor excursions for area veterans is settling in to the new location of its coffee shop, a move made to increase the organization’s visibility and provide a boost in customers.
The Warrior Institute’s Outpost Coffee Shop had been in its warehouse facility on Northwest 67th Place since opening in April 2014.
A few months thereafter, the organization moved out of the warehouse but wanted to keep the coffee shop going — so it reopened on Oct. 31, 2014, in the Millhopper library after remodeling.
