Today is a good first day of school.
As soon as I got on the campus of the University of Florida, I saw President Bernie Machen getting ice water dumped on his head by the football team’s quarterback, Jeff Driskel, and volleyball player Simone Antwi.
This comes after me and my friends Keran and Aqsa made a video challenging Machen to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
“That is still cold water, even in sunny and hot Florida,” he said after getting splashed.
Machen then challenged Cory Yeffet, UF’s student body president, and Dave Kratzer, the vice president for students.
